Daniel Brown Obituary, Death – Waupun resident Daniel Brown, who was 57 years old at the time of his passing in Waupun Memorial Hospital on September 11, 2023, was found to have gone away there. Richard and Dianne McMullin Brown had their first child, a son named Dan, on November 7th, 1965, in the city of Waupun. Richard and Dianne McMullin Brown were already married at the time. Dan is the name of the couple’s son.

After graduating from Waupun High School, Dan began his career in the foundry sector working as a grinder for M&M Foundry. He has been with the company ever since. After that, he went on to seek a career as an assembler at Metalcraft of Mayville, where he worked for the next 26 years of his life. This occupation was his primary source of income for the most of his life.

Dan spent a significant portion of his life serving as a volunteer firefighter for the Waupun Fire Department, where he served for a number of years. This was an undertaking that he felt strongly about and was committed to. Brenda Cebery, Kathleen (Mark) Norby, and Chantel (Eric) Grimm are Dan’s surviving sisters. Kathleen married Mark Norby.

In addition, he is left by two brothers, Kenneth (Jenny) Brown and Robert Brown; a brother-in-law, Ted Vander Woude; a good friend, Barbara Lang; and a huge number of nieces and nephews. Robert Brown is also survived by a brother-in-law, Ted Vander Woude. Before he did, both of his parents and his sister Carol Vander Woude had already passed away.

He was the only member of his family to have lived to adulthood. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Werner Harmsen Event Center on the evening of Thursday, September 14, 2023, beginning at five o’clock in the evening and continuing on until nine o’clock in the evening.
