At the age of 3, she began learning dancing and acting.

Chandrika started working professionally at 16 and worked in theatre, film, and television around the world.

She became the first Indian descent woman to place as a finalist in 2012 Miss World Australia and Miss India Australia.

She once said, “Ethnicity and race should not define people as they can be anything they want to be. It is possible to be both Westernised and traditional at once; it can give you balance in life. This is what I am pushing for the rights for:Indian women within our culture and outside of it too. There are many opportunities out there for the taking but be true to yourself, and respect your culture. That way you do it your way.”

Chandrika Ravi also won the runner-up title in 2014 Miss Maxim India.

Alongside Gautham Karthik, Yaashika Aannand, VJ Sha Ra, and Vaibhavi Shandilya, Chandrika Ravi co-starred as Ghost, who died as a virgin and will have s*x with one virgin boy to rest her soul, in the 2018 Tamil-language adult comedy film Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu.
