On July 18, 2000, Darryl Worley released his debut studio album Hard Rain Don’t Last through DreamWorks Records and it consists of songs like A Good Day to Run, Who’s Gonna Get Me Over You, Too Many Pockets, Second Wind, When You Need My Love, Those Less Fortunate Than I, The Way Things Are Goin, If I Could Just Be Me, Is It Just Us, and others. The album peaked at #33 on the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums chart and at #39 on the U.S. Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.
His 2nd studio album I Miss My Friend was released on July 16, 2002, and its tracklist included I Wouldn’t Mind the Shackles, Family Tree, I Miss My Friend, Tennessee River Run, The Least That You Can Do, Where You Think You’re Goin’?, I Built This Wall, and others. The album peaked at #1 on the US Top Country Albums (Billboard) chart and at #21 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
